American Continent 01

American Bioregional Library

The American Bioregional Library brings together the living knowledge of the Indigenous Nations of North, Central, and South America within a single, respectful knowledge framework. Rather than treating the continent as political borders, it recognizes the great ecological regions — forests, deserts, mountains, prairies, coastlines, and rainforests — as living teachers. Here, Elders, researchers, artists, and communities contribute stories, language archives, ecological memory, ceremonies (when appropriate), natural medicine practices, and cultural heritage materials. The library functions both physically and digitally, supporting local community spaces while creating a continental network of learning centers. Its purpose is to protect ancestral memory, strengthen cultural continuity, and build bridges between Native science, modern research, and future generations — always guided by consent, dignity, and respect for each other.
